Getting the battery of your fine swiss watch changed should be as easy as dropping it off at the store where you bought it and picking it up the next day, right? Not exactly!
Fine swiss watches feature sealed cases that allow them to resist water and other elements. Retail watch and jewelry stores do not have watchmakers on site and have to send these watches to off site service centers for even the simplest of maintenance. This takes time and adds uneeded expenses to the process. If you take your watch to a local watch repair shop, they might not have the knowledge and equipment to reseal a high end watch and perform a factory specification pressure test.
At High Grade Watch, we have an onsite master watch maker who can replace your battery and perform factory specification pressure testing after resealing your case. Our list of watches that require pressure seal testing includes: Audemars Piguet, Baume & Mercier, Bedat, Bell & Ross, Breitling, Bulgari, Cartier, Chopard, Concord, Corum, Ebel, Fortis, Girard Perregaux, Hamilton, Hublot, Ice-Tek, Jacob & Co, Krieger, Longines, Maurice Lacroix, Movado, Omega, Patek Philippe, Piaget, Pierre Kunz, Rado, Tag Heuer, Tissot, Zenith, Michell, Burberry, Phillip Stein, Dolce & Gabbana, Glam Rock, Marc Jacobs, and Technomarine.
